Horseback Riding and Hayrides

Acres of Eureka Springs West can be explored during a horseback ride along a wooded mountain trail on a mount selected for your own level of experience: beginner to pro. Your guides will take you to some of the most scenic and out-of-the way spots for discoveries that can’t be found in any other way.

If riding a horse isn’t your cup of tea, then try a carriage ride, just as people did at the turn of the 20th century. Looking for more fun? We also have year-round hayrides and special October “haunted” hayrides. Western-style weddings can be performed on horseback or in a carriage, and luxury lodging is available along with the horses. So come, stay awhile and bask in all things equine!

Bear Mountain Riding Stables

Bear Mountain Riding Stables

Our easily-found stables feature a large red barn, on a mountaintop, surrounded by woods and acres of trails. Our oversized “pets” (Roans, paints, palominos and quarter horses) behave like puppy dogs, sweet and full of little tricks like trying to pick your pocket, or following you like a shadow. Trail rides & hayrides are offered year round, with special family-oriented “haunted” hayrides in October. People of all ages can enjoy some fun, outdoor time in the Ozarks.
